I originally posted this reply to a message regarding this station in the iphone forum here at Flycast, thinking this had to be a problem for ALL versions of the software.

Having just loaded FLycast Select on my ipod touch, I see now it's just my Droid which has the issue. So I will post here, after having deleted it there.

I realize this is an old topic and I am not trolling. It's an updated question to an old response.

Up until recently I was able to get Martini int he Morning on my Droid running Flycast 2.0 just fine... in the past 2 weeks however, it has stopped working.
The favorite I had listed 'cannot be found' - "We're sorry but we were unable to connect to this station. Please try another or verify your connection in Settings. Station is currently offline".

When I search for Martini, several come up... but they also do not work.
Martini Radio (Unable to find Netstation ID 158672 in the database)
Martini Radio AACP 64 (Media error, unknown -10 , repeated over and over until force close)
Martini Radio lo (UNable to find NetStation ID 158673 in the database)
More Stations (Just tries to connect to a station, which is not there. Sits and spins. )

Did the station get pulled or something?

It's still in the channel list on the website.. but no longer shows up under 'modern jazz' like it says.

Here's where I diverge.

As I said, I loaded FC Select on my ipod touch and not only does the second option (AACP 64) work, but when I click on 'more stations'... more stations actually show up.

However, since I logged in, my favorite was saved there and it does not work. So now I am confused.

Any clues?

Thank you for bringing to our attention the Martini was not playing. They updated their URL that they broadcast on w/o letting us know. We have updated our database with the new URL and it should be back online shortly.

Question though... why was the iPod working, when Droid was not? Should they not be the same link?

The android and the iphone/ipod use different URLs for some stations, not all.

So, no, they do not use the same link.

Hi, new to this but found through a link on kut.org in Austin recommending for blackberry. I have the droid and noticed that you now have the 2.0 for android. I cannot find the stream for kut on the 2.0 either under city list for austin and when I search for KUT under search it comes up blank? Where is it? Thanks.

You are referring to a blog entry from 2008. FlyCast does not currently carry KUT.

Thanks for the response on KUT. Ok what about the Podcasts on the Droid. I cannot seem to access the podcasts. I get an error message for any choice telling me to check my settings. I am on 3G when this happens. I get the podcasts fine on the laptop. Thanks.

Podcasts are currently not supported on the Droid.

I have an HTC Desire, it tells me it cannot make a network connection.

"No network connectivity, restart FlyCast when connected."

If I turn wifi on, it seems to work fine.

FlyCast should work with my 3G network, correct?
