Hello everyone,

We have now released FlyCast 2.0 version 2.12

** What's new **
Fixes to support BB OS 5.0 on the Storms.
Fixed a "buffering" problem when device has a spotty connection.
Podcasts should work a lot better.
Other cleanup and bug fixes.

We recommend that you uninstall the existing version first. This
will not delete your recordings or user settings in any way. Simply
go to Options > Advanced > Applications > select Flycast 2.0 >
BB menu key > Delete > Reboot

You can get the released version by pointing your BlackBerry
browser to following urls:

NOTE: Tour AAC+ skipping are in the BB OS not FlyCast.

Awesome, this is now working flawlessly on BB Bold OS 5.0.0.238 - the previous version did not have any sound and would freeze when you try to exit, but this version is working great! Keep up the great work!

I am still having problems getting sound when running my station. I have a Verizon 8330. The first time I installed Flycast was 10/27. I was having issues hearing Indianapolis station WZPL but I can connect and hear WNTR just fine. I have uninstalled/deleted flycast twice and re-installed most recent using link on this post. Not sure what to do next.

What option do TOUR users have at this point with the skipping issue? WIll flycast work on getting some kind of alternative way to play aac+ feeds?

Should I try a different OS for my tour?

There is a problem at the source with WZPL. I am alerting them and will
post back when it is fixed.

We are working on a different set of streams for the Tour until BB gets
around to releasing a new version of the OS.

Thanks for the update Rosco.

In the meantime I will probably try out an unoffical release of an updated Blackberry OS for the tour. It says that it fixes some kind of DRM sound issue on the tour. I'm hoping that this is the issue. I also cannot fast forward or skip ahead on the streams. Also it seems that when I receive an e-mail, sms txt, or any notification it automatically restarts the stream from the beginning. Its quite annoying... lol...

Boy I miss my bold on AT&T... I'm starting to hate verizon more and more....

will this not work on the curve 8330

well after reboot on my curve 8330 with sprint it plays but pauses evry 2 min then plays again is there a cure for this other than removeing it from phone
