In all honesty, I think that the way the cover flow is shown is off point a bit. With the new hi-res screens, I think that you should have larger album art with the other "flybacks" displayed a little more squeezed together. I think the way slacker has it set up looks really nice (especially with the black background giving great contrast), but I realize that with them, they don't need as much screen since you can't "flyback". Just a suggestion, thats all.

Also, is 2.04 for the tour any different than the appworld 2.1? Thanks!

Are you on a Pearl Flip or older Pearl?
Version 2.04 is the newest version available.
Version 2.1 (badly named because of BB) is exactly the same as 2.01
We will think some more about the cover flow. This is our
first version of it and I'm sure it will be refined over time.

I'm actually on a tour, but just wanted to offer some constructive criticism. KEep up the great work!

I like the app, however, it freezes on my Tour at least 25% of the time, requiring a reboot to close the app. When it works, bluetooth headset are hard to use, you must pair AFTER Flycast is started, else you do not get any playback on speaker or headset.

How do you download 2.04? I have 2.1 from BB Apps, which you u say is the same as 2.01.

I am looking for some help here. I recently installed FlyCast v2.10 from the BB App Store. When completed, I noted that I still had v2.0.1 installed. I deleted that version but v2.1.0 would not run (kept showing "loading" for several minutes, following a couple of battery pulls). So, I deleted v2.1.0 from my 8900. At first, it showed "Archived" instead of deleted, which I had never seen before on an application I had deleted). With me so far?

Now, I am unable to re-install v2.1.0 from the App Store because it thinks it is still installed on my 8900. So, I tried your link from the forum, only to find that it is using the BB App World application, bringing me back to square one... I cannot install v2.1.0 (which I just learned from reading your forum, is the same as what I already had installed in the first place, being v2.0.1.

Any chance for a link to download the v2.0.4 from your website? Or, is there something that I can do to change how the BB App World thinks that I have v2.1.0 still installed?

I would suggest the following.
Delete any FlyCast from Options > Advanced > Applications.
Go to Device Memory > BlackBerry > app_world > downloads >
(some random string) > FlyCast_v2 and delete the FlyCast_v2
Then reboot device with a battery pull.

Then go to the following url to download the current release (2.04)

or go to AppWorld and download 2.1 (2.01)

Also, old builds are archived for download (2.01)

Just downloaded the latest version

I was hoping that the issues with the Vodafone Uk network had been solved.....and firstly I tried connecting with GRPS, yes straight in, no apn settings required!!! Great.

I'm very pleased as now I can listen on the way to work and back. Not spent that much time with it as yet but first impressions are very good. The inteface looks more appealing and the jumpback feature is a nice idea. Also very pleased there's now recording functionality.

Anyway I'd just like to say a big thanks to you guys for sorting things out, flycast is easily the best app on my blackberry bold and the fact that its free (to listen) makes it a must have for every bb owner

Thank you very, very much Rosco! The instructions worked great and now I am enjoying FlyCast again. I have upgraded just now but haven't had an opportunity to play with it yet.

Great app btw! I am now able to delete two other apps that I no longer use because of FlyCast.

I am glad you had some success on Vodafone UK. In general, most
of our users there still can't play streams. I think their network is
configured differently in different places and we are working through
changes now to make it work everywhere.
