Storm Version -- FlyCast v1.30 available

Hello everyone,

We are making our first version of a Storm specific build available.
This just the first version with more changes yet to come.

This build should address a lot of the keyboard issues.
You should be able to sign in, sign up, search, etc.
However, it is also set currently to remain only in portrait
mode. Our app is generally a vertical application. We are
also trying to maintain a similar look and feel on all of our
platforms (iPhone, Desktop, Android [soon]). I know some
of you want a landscape version and that will come some
day, but we are still determining how that should look and
how the user will use it. Also, you can again go back to the Guide
and browse without stopping the playback. We have also
increased the initial buffer size slightly. This is to try to help
smooth out network issues, but will mean that there may
be a few more seconds delay on station startup while we buffer.

Also you will probably need to modify an application setting for
a better display. Go in to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications.
Select FlyCast and hit the menu (BB) key. Select "Disable compatibility mode".

** NOTE ** Please clear the browser cache on device BEFORE downloading.
Then simply point your BlackBerry browser to the download location.

No landscape mode?
It seems to run well on my storm running 4.7.0.90 OS

About the only thing left is to resume playing after an alert comes in!

Found an issue:
with OS 4.7.0.90 after the screen/phine locks if i try to unlock the phone it freezes, only a battery pul will get it back to working order.
Tried it several times to see what would happen, always the same result.

I'm on a BP server with a basically wide open policy, we have a proxy setting but nothing else

Confirmed:

When phone locks, phone freezes while playing any stream.

Running .90 flawlessly until this application installed.

That is not good. I will try to get .90 installed and test here to see
if there is already a change we can make to the code. We already
have added two new confirmed bugs to BlackBerry for the Storm OS
regarding headphones and call/alert notifications.

Crackberry Forums are lit up with MP3 and AAC file playbacks crashing the phone in .90.

EDIT: Talklock maybe interfering with the locking of the phone causing a crash. I will test and let you know because I just removed Talklock.

AMAZING it works with my Plantronics BlueTooth Stereo Headset!!! with .90 BB OS

That's the good news.

Bad News:

Every other time I bring it up, it wants me to "sign in". But if I completely close the app (or reset the Storm), it logs me in automatically.

Also, even though I have disabled compat mode, the keyboard tries to come up over the top of the "sign in" or "settings" screen and doesn't allow entries.

We are still trying to get .90 installed here.
Sounds like it may have broke as many things as it fixed.
Once we test on .90, I will post any results asap.
