BlackBerry Storm Users -- Please Read This

Postby FlyCastRosco on Wed Dec 03, 2008 11:32 am

Hello all,

If you are using FlyCast on a BlackBerry Storm, you will probably
need to modify an application setting for a better display.
Go in to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications.
Select FlyCast and hit the menu (BB) key. Select
"Disable compatibility mode". FlyCast should now take up the
whole screen and the keyboard won't be permanent. We are
working on a new UI that will be Storm specific so stay tuned.

I don't get that option. I get the following on my menu:

Edit Permissions
Show Keyboard
Switch Application
Close

This is under FlyCast Properties which the screen that pops up when I follow the path Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> BB key

never mind, figured it out, you don't want to acutally select FlyCast but merely highlight it.

I upgraded my storm OS to .75 on Friday and ever since there is no sound for any of the stations. I have pressed the mute button etc and the volume buttons but there is no sound. On screen I can see tht flycast is playing the station. Any ideas? I have already done the "compatability mode" fix.

0.76 with same problem. No sound, but if I hit the volume key either up or down it turns it on and adjusts properly. However, there's no option to activate handset, and if I plug in headphones the sound stops (although streaming continues) and can't be found again...

t is always hard to say with software, but we are
hoping to have the new release out by next week
at the latest. We have a lot of things to finish though.

Once I sign in via my Storm I get to a screen that asks me "what do want to do?" Can not click on anything then -just dead. Thoughts?
